Real Wedding: Alison + Andrew
Ceremony Location: Offsite
Culinary Highlights: Wide Range of Apps from Mini Quiche to Prosciutto and Melon; a Beautiful Tower of Belgium Cookies From Our Bakery
Wow Factor: The Dining Barn with Gold Chivari Chairs and a Twist on the Classic Burlap Runner
Andrew proposed to Alison on a camping trip so the farm was the perfect, natural venue to celebrate their love. Everything about this wedding was very personalized - for example, the bride's family loves the belgium cookies from our bakery and so she ordered a tower of them for her wedding day! These cookies looked lovely on the pie bar, next to a tower of our buttertarts. In fact, food was definitely a big part of this wedding, right from the very beginning with a big spread of appertizers such as mini quiche, a gourmet cheese platter, proscuitto and melon, and bruschetta to name a few.
The dining barn was beautifully decorated with flowers by Batora Flora, our antique head table made the perfect sweet heart table for the newlyweds, and gold chivari chairs were an elegant touch. This couple also added a twist to the classic burlap runner with jagged stripes.
The tractor rides were a huge hit with all the young guests who stayed on for two rides in a row and then spent cocktail hour playing with the goats - so adorable. The whole reception was DJ'ed by our inhouse DJ Donny from Ruby Entertainment who did an incredible job as always. We have also attached a sneak peak photo from the couple's photoshoot in our green house by Darling Mine Photography - it is GORGEOUS.
Congratulations Alison and Andrew!
